Helping Neighbors Food Pantry

Helping Neighbors operates an inter-faith food Pantry serving Craighead County, Arkansas residents. The Pantry is managed by a board of directors comprised of representatives from its twenty-four Sponsoring Organizations (a synagogue and twenty-three churches). Located in the basement of the Huntington Building at the corner of Huntington and Vine streets in Jonesboro, the Pantry is open year-round:



Monday – 10am to 2pm

Tuesday – 10am to 2pm

Thursday – 10am to 2pm


First Tuesday of each month - 5pm to 7pm

The pantry is open these hours most weeks. Exceptions are holidays and when Jonesboro schools are closed due to weather conditions.

If you take the standard deduction on your 2020 tax return, you may claim a brand new "above-the-line" deduction of up to $300 for cash donations to nonprofits.

If you itemize your deductions for 2020, you may now deduct 100% of your charitable contributions from your adjusted gross income (AGI).
